2 COPY FUNCTIONS
Adjusting the original mode to the copy
You can set “ORIGINAL MODE” that is suitable for the original image to copy.
TEXT/PHOTO: Select this mode to copy the original with text and photographs mixed.
TEXT: Select this mode to copy the original with text only or text and fine illustration only.
PHOTO: Select this mode to copy the original with photographs only.
BACKGROUND ERASE: Select this mode to copy the original with the dark background.

Press the [MENU] button to enter the “MENU” mode.

Make sure that the first “ADVANCED FUNCTION” is selected.
You can scroll through the menu with the or button.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to enter the “ADVANCED FUNCTION” menu.

Press the or button to select “ORIGINAL MODE”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button.

Press the , , , or button to select “TEXT/PHOTO”, “TEXT”, “PHOTO”, or
“BACKGROUND ERASE”.
If you select the setting and press the [START] button, you can immediately start copying with the default or
current setting. Before you start copying, be sure to place the original in advance.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to exit from the menu.
You are ready to start copying with the selected function.
