Press the , , , or button to select the size of paper you have loaded in the drawer.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button.
You are finished with the operation, so that you can start copying with the current paper size.
Setting the jam recovery function
Set the default setting for the “JAM RECOVERY” function as follows.

Press the [MENU] button to enter the “MENU” mode.

Press the or button to select “DEFAULT SETTINGS”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to enter the “DEFAULT SETTINGS” menu.

Press the or button to select “JAM RECOVERY”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button.

Press the or button to select “MANUAL” or “AUTO”.
y When you select “MANUAL”, you need to recover from the error after you clear the paper jam. After you clear
the paper jam, press the [START] button to resume printing the subsequent pages after the jammed one.
y When you select “AUTO”, the equipment automatically recovers from the error after you clear the paper jam.
After you clear the paper jam, the equipment automatically resumes printing the jammed and subsequent
pages.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to exit from the menu.
You are finished with the operation in the “MENU” mode. The selected setting becomes active as the default.
Setting the LCD contrast
Set the default setting for “LCD CONTRAST” as follows.

Press the [MENU] button to enter the “MENU” mode.
