Print Options
This section describes the print options available on each tab of the printer driver. The following Windows 7 screen
appears when you right-click your printer in the Devices and Printers folder and select [Printing preferences] from the
menu. The methods and command names depend on the versions of Windows. For other versions, see the page below.

1) Printer name
The name of your printer driver appears on top.
2) Menu tabs
The menu items of the printer driver are arranged as tabs. Click a tab to show the print options available on each tab.
- Basic tab
The Basic tab contains basic print options, such as original paper size, print paper size, paper source, paper type,
number of copies, and orientation.

- Finishing tab
The Finishing tab allows you to use sort printing, manual 2-side printing, and multiple pages per sheet printing.

- Paper Handling tab
The Paper Handling tab contains the options to print front and back covers.

- Image Quality tab
The Image Quality tab allows you to control how images are printed. You can easily select the appropriate image
quality for each type of print job.

- Effect tab
The Effect tab allows you to use watermarks, overlay images, and other print effects.

-Others Tab
The Others tab contains the options to save toner, ignore blank pages, show the version information, and restore
all default settings.

- Configuration tab
The Configuration tab allows you to configure the drawer settings, see the version information, and restore the print
options to the default settings. This tab appears only when you open the dialog box with the Printer properties
command from the Devices or Properties folder or the Properties command in the Printers and Faxes folder. The
command names depend on the version of Windows.

3) Print Job
This menu allows you to select the following options.
- Normal Print
Select this option to print a job normally. When you want to print normally in most cases, be sure to select it.
