Default Settings
You can set the default settings for various functions in the “MENU” mode.
Setting the density default
Set the default setting for “DENSITY” as follows.

Press the [MENU] button to enter the “MENU” mode.

Press the or button to select “DEFAULT SETTINGS”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to enter the “DEFAULT SETTINGS” menu.

Make sure that “DENSITY” is selected.
If necessary, press the or button to select it.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button.

Press the or button to select “AUTO” or the density scale.
If you have selected “AUTO” at this step, skip the next step. For the details about the setting and operation, see the
pages below.

If you have selected the density scale at the previous step, press the or button to
increase or decrease the density level.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to exit from the menu.
You are finished with the operation in the “MENU” mode. The selected setting becomes active as the default.
Setting the original mode default
Set the default setting for “ORIGINAL MODE” as follows.

Press the [MENU] button to enter the “MENU” mode.

Press the or button to select “DEFAULT SETTINGS”.

Press the [SETTING/OK] button to enter the “DEFAULT SETTINGS” menu.
