7.4.1 Scanner

* a1. Original glass / RADF original glass
Clean both sides of the original glass and RADF original glass.
Make sure that there is no dust after cleaning. Then install the original glass and RADF
original glass.
Notes:
• Make sure that there is no fingerprints or oil staining on part of the original glass on where the
original scale is mounted since the shading correction plate is located below the scale to be
scanned.
• Grease is applied to the back side of the original glass. Therefore, when removing the original
glass, be careful not to have grease adhere to other portions and do not wipe it off.
