you are requested to follow the steps given below:

The inversion of the battery wires can damage the battery
and the recharging system.
If the motorcycle is to remain unused for a long time (a
month or longer), it is advisable to disconnect the battery
cables or have the battery removed by skilled personnel.
Never check the battery charge by shorting the terminals.
Always connect the positive terminal first (red wire) and
then negative (black wire) to avoid sparking.

4. Do not add additional electrical accessories
3. Apply petroleum jelly to the terminals to protect it
from corrosion.
