Handlethemainscablecorrectly:Alwaysseizethecableattheplug.Nevertouchitwith
wethands.
Thecableshouldneverbesqueezedorkinked.Neverplacetheinstrumentation(orany
otherobject)onthecable.
Damagedcablesmaygiverisetofireanddangercausedby
electricity.Inspectthemvis‐
uallyinregularintervals.Youshouldexchangedamagedpartsatonce.
Inthecaseofamajordisturbance,disconnecttheequipmentimmediatelyfromthe
mains.
Sparepartsnotdeliveredorrecommendedbythemanufacturermayaffecttheinherent
safetyofthesystem.Thesame
problemarises,ifthecustomerattemptstoprocesssub‐
stancesnotadmittedforthedispensingsystem.
Unqualifiedrepairworkoftencausesmajordamages,evenwithpersonalinjury.

Whencleaningthe
componentsincontactwiththetransportedsubstance,thedevice
shouldbeplacedinasafeandstableposition,withoutbeingsubjectedtovibrations.
Tocleantheactuator,aclothnotfluffyandlightlymoistened(e.g.byIsopropanol)isrec‐
ommended.Duringthecleaningprocedure,noliquidshouldpenetrateinto
theactuator
itself,e.g.throughtheplug.
