Rising(RI) Thisintervaldescribesthetimerequireduntilthevalveiscompletely
opened.Itisadjustableinstepsof0,01ms.
OpenTime(OT) Duringthisphasethevalveremainsinopenedstate.Itisadjustablein
stepsof0,1ms.
Max.OpenTimefor≤80%NL=3000ms
Max.OpenTimefor>80%NL=15ms
CAUTION!
WhenworkinginExternalmode,thecycleisinitiatedwiththefollowing
properties:
ForRising,Falling,DelayandNeedleLift,thevaluesdeterminedbefore‐
handareused.OpenTimehoweverremainsactive,untilthesignalreturns
tostate“Logic0“(forNeedleLift≤80%).
MaximumOpenTimeforNeedleLift>80%isrestrictedto15ms.
Falling(FA) Thefallingrampofthecurveillustratedaboverepresentsthetimere‐
quiredforclosingthevalve.Residualfluidmeanwhileisexpulsedfromthe
nozzlecompressionchamber(thecavityattherearsideofthenozzlein‐
sert).Theintervalisadjustableinstepsof0,01ms.
Delay(DL) Thiswaitingphasebetweentwocyclesisadjustableinstepsof0,1ms.
CAUTION!
Forvalvesoperatedwithconnectedheatingsystems,aminimumdelayof
4,6msisnecessary.Lowervaluescanonlybeachieved,iftheheateris
operatedwithanexternalcontrolunit.
NeedleLift(NL) Thisparameterdescribesthestrokeofthetappet,comparedtoitsfull
valueof100%.Fortherangebetween80%and100%,thevalveworksin
bipolarmode.Theelevatedtemperatureinthisrangereducestheaverage
frequencyandthelifetimeofthevalve.A
