4.7 Alert function
Press the alert button to make the device send an alert message to the switchboard, which will manage the message
as a priority.
The system will show a full-screen animation, showing the remaining time for cancelling the send.
After waiting ve seconds, the message will be sent to reception.
Sending an Alert can have dierent outcomes: “in management”, i.e. sent to the switchboard, "Managed" and “Failed”.
Having sent the alert, the system will return to the starting screen, where the Alert button will be in the special “In
management” state. In this state, the button cannot be used until the alert has been managed. The alert icon in grey on
the state bar reminds of the condition, even if you move from this screen.
