9.5 Removing the Roof

This procedure requires an appropriate crane capable of lifting 227 kg
(500 lbs.).
9.5.1 Disconnect the battery.
9.5.2 Remove the doors (a).
9.5.3 Remove the front and rear access panels (b and c).
9.5.4 Remove the screws that secure the roof to the side panels (d).
9.5.5 Remove the screws that secure the control panel enclosure (e) to the
lifting structure (f).
9.5.6 Remove the screws that secure the door latch (g) to the lifting structure
and remove the door latch.
9.5.7 Remove the screws that secure the lifting structure to the frame.
9.5.8 Using an appropriate crane or hoist, lift the roof (h), by the lifting eye,
off of the frame.
