6.15 Aiming the Light Fixtures
NOTICE
Damage may occur to a light fixture that is not secure.
► Do not loosen the nuts (2) on the light fixture.
Overview
• Each individual light fixture can be independently aimed up, down, left, or
right. There are four total light fixtures on each machine.
• This procedure is not for rotating the lights as a single unit while the
tower is raised. This procedure requires the tower to be lowered and the
engine stopped. To rotate the lights, see Manually Rotating the Light Bar
on page 53.
Requirements
Before adjusting the lights, make sure that the following conditions have
been met:
• The engine is stopped.
• The tower is completely lowered.
• The lights are cool to the touch.
Aiming the light fixtures up or down
1. Grasp the light fixture (1) and aim it up or down.
2. Repeat step 1 for each remaining light fixture, if desired.
Aiming the light fixtures left or right
1. Grasp the light fixture and aim it to the left or right. If necessary, loosen
the bracket nut (1) to allow movement of the fixture.
