8.7 Cleaning the Machine

Procedure
1. Open the access door on the side of the machine.
2. Check the fluid level in the containment system.
3. If fluid has accumulated, drain the containment system.
ð Place a plastic cloth and a collection container beneath the machine.
ð Remove the drain plug (1). Drain accumulated fluid into a suitable
container.
ð Apply pipe sealant to the drain plug.
ð Install the drain plug.
8.7 Cleaning the Machine
NOTICE
Pressurized water can severely damage the generator and sensitive elec-
tronic components.
► Do not use a pressure washer to clean this machine.
When
Every 250 hours
Suggested cleaning materials
• Compressed air
• Clean water supply
• Mild detergent
• Clean, dry cloths
Cleaning the interior
Clean the interior of the machine.
