Addional Safety Features
• The vehicle detector (oponal; recommended) passes a small current ow through the in-ground laid
“vehicle detecon loop” which then becomes an inducve coil. When a vehicle passes over the loop
the detector senses the resultant drop in the inductance, and this in turn stops the gate.
• The opening and closing force of the SpeedGate is restricted by gate controllers which also regulate
the opening and closing mes.
• The access doors on the column are provided with locks so that unauthorized access to the drive can
be prevented.
