Unshieldedcables:
CanbeusedwhenitisnotnecessarytomeettheEuropeandirectiveofelectromagneticcompatibility(IEC61800-
3).
Theemissionofthecablesmaybereducedbyinstallingtheminsideametalconduit,whichshallbegrounded
atbothends.
Itisnecessarytoconnectafourthcablebetweenthemotorgroundandtheinverterground.

Themagneticfieldcreatedbythecurrentcirculationinthesecablesmayinducecurrentinclosemetal
pieces,heatthem,andcauseadditionalelectricallosses.Therefore,keepthe3(three)cables(U,V,
W)alwaystogether.

Theyaremandatorywhenitisnecessarytocomplywiththeelectromagneticcompatibilitystandard,asdefined
byIEC61800-3standard“AdjustableSpeedElectricalPowerDriveSystems”.
Thesecablesactmainlybyreducingtheirradiatedemissionintheradio-frequencyrange.

Thegroundingsystemshallbewellinterconnectedamongtheseveralinstallationlocationssuchasthegrounding
pointsofthemotorandtheinverter.Voltagedifferenceorimpedancebetweentheseveralpointsmaycause
thecirculationofleakagecurrentsamongtheequipmentconnectedtotheground,resultinginelectromagnetic
interferenceproblems.
