TheUSBconnectionisgalvanicallyisolatedfromthemainspowersupplyandfromotherhigh
voltagesinternaltotheinverter.However,theUSBconnectionisnotisolatedfromtheprotective
ground(PE).UseanisolatednotebookfortheUSBconnectionoradesktopconnectedtothesame
protectiveground(PE)oftheinverter.
TocontrolthemotorspeedandtoviewandprogramtheinverterthroughaPC,itisnecessarytoinstalltheWEG
WPSsoftware,availableat:
”www.weg.net”.
BasicproceduretotransferdatafromthePCtotheinverter:
1.InstalltheWEGWPSsoftwareonyourcomputer.
2.ConnectthePCtotheinverterviaUSBcable.
3.StarttheWEGWPS.
4.Select“File→ NewConfiguration”andfollowthestepsonthescreentomaketheconnection.
