TheProtections,FaultsandAlarmsareafunctionalityoftheCFW900thatallowsviewingevents,helpingto
troubleshootandidentifyingimprovementsintheinverterparametersettings.
ProtectionsandfaultsdisablethemotorPWMpulses.ThereasonfortheiractuationisindicatedontheHMI,in
theCFW900statusword(S1.1.1)andinthecurrentprotectiondiagnosis(D1.1).Thisinformationisonly
clearedwitharesetorbyswitchingofftheinverter.
ThealarmsareindicatedontheHMI,intheCFW900statusword(S1.1.1)andinthecurrentalarmdiagnosis(
D2.1).Theyareautomaticallyclearedafterthealarmconditionceases.
TheProtections,FaultsandAlarmsarepresentedtotheuserthroughcodesprecededbythelettersFfor
protectionandfailureandAforalarm,asshownintheSection6.3.Inthissectionyoualsofindmoredetailsabout
thecausesandpossiblesolutions.
