1.4 Safety Summary
The DTV 720 is designed for safe use with few special precautions required of the user.
The following items are basic precautions to use when installing and working with your
DTV 720:
Do not open the DTV 720’s chassis cover.
Alarm and Warning Relays
Alarm Function Contact closure for main power off, loss of expected input
signal
Warning Function Contact closure for main power off, oversubscription, or input
stream with more than 1 error per 10 seconds
Type Form C, Normally Open and Normally Closed
Rating 30Vdc open circuit, 500 mA max current closed
Expansion Module Slot Allowable Expansion Modules:
• DHEI Transport Stream Output
• Gigabit Transport Stream Output
• 8VSB Tuner Module
