Maintenance Procedures
Generator Drive Coupling - Inspect / Replace
1. Measure clearance between coupler (1) and spider
element (2). Replace spider element if clearance
exceeds 0.11” (3 mm).
Ground Fault Interrupters - Test
The machine is equipped with a ground fault interrupter
on the outlet.
The generator must be running to test the ground fault
interrupter.
1. Plug in an electrical appliance, preferably a lamp or
radio or use a voltmeter.
2. Start engine and turn on generator. Turn on lamp,
radio or observe voltmeter.
3. Press test button (1) located on outlet. The reset
button (2) located next to test button must pop out immediately and power must go off.
The outlet must be replaced if reset button does not pop out and power does not go off.
4. Press reset button to reset outlet.
Horns - Test
1. Press button (1) to sound horn.
2. Verify front horn sounds.
3. Repeat test for each horn button on right and left
dump hopper control stations.
