Maintenance Procedures
4. Clean area around fill cap (2) and return filter
cover (3).
5. Remove fill cap (2) and return filter cover (3).
Remove filter element.
6. Inspect inside of return filter compartment. If
contamination is found, clean compartment.
7. Clean filter cover. Install new filter cover seal if
damaged.
8. Install new return filter. Install filter cover.
NOTICE: Do not spill contaminants into tank. Filter all hydraulic fluid through a 5-micron filter
before adding to tank.
9. Refill hydraulic tank. Refer to
"Specifications", page A-1 for correct hydraulic fluid.
10. Replace fill cap (2).
11. Start engine and check for leakage around filter covers. Turn engine off, remove key and correct
if leakage is observed.
12. Check hydraulic fluid level. Maintain fluid level in middle of sight gauge (4).
Hydraulic Fluid - Check / Fill
NOTICE: Do not spill contaminants into tank. Filter all
hydraulic fluid through a 5-micron filter before adding to
tank.
Keep tank filled to sight gauge level. Machine must be
level and in transport position. Clean area around fill cap
before opening.
1. Remove fill cap (1).
2. Fill to upper half of sight gauge level (2).
3. Install fill cap.
