Distance Control
1. Attach distance control target (1) on paver.
2. Verify target is perpendicular to ground surface
using adjustment bracket (2).
3. Verify distance control sensor (3) is free of debris.
4. Position transfer vehicle at desired paving position
directly in front of paver.
5. With discharge conveyor set at correct height, verify
distance control sensor (3) is parallel to ground
surface and directed towards the center of the
distance control target (1) using adjustment (4) on
sensor mounting.
