Paving
During operation ensure distance control sensor remains aimed at distance control target. If
sensor loses contact with target, desired “Set Distance” between transfer vehicle and paver will
not be maintained.
13. To disengage distance control system, press and
release Distance-From-Paver Button (7).
Pressing and releasing Distance-From-Paver
Button will turn distance control system off and
ground speed of machine is controlled by position of
Propel Lever and Propel Speed Dial.
14. To stop machine movement, squeeze trigger and
center Propel Lever (8).
Centering Propel Lever disengages distance control
system. The following screen appears when distance
control system is disengaged.
WARNING
Runover possible. Machine can crush. Machine can move erratically if a
person or object is between the Distance-From-Paver Control Sensor and
target or if sensor is misaligned with target.
Do not enter area between sensor and target. Turn Distance-From-Paver
Control System off when moving conveyor away from target. Keep others
away.
