B. Inspection
1. Check if - there is no ca tch when the dust
seal. slide metal. collar and spring slide
up and down .
2. Check the in n er tube and pis t on for
scra tches and dust. Al so make sure the
circlip is co rre ctly fitted in the groove
when assemb ling.
If the circlip is distorted or fatigued , re -
pla
ce it together with the i nner tube .

couli ssea u metallique, la collerette et le re-
sso rt co uli sse nt.
2. Controler si le tube interne et le pi sto111
pre se ntent d es rayures ou de la pous siere.
Lors du remontage, -s'assurer aus si que le
circlip
est co rre ctement monte dans la ·
gorge.
Si le circlip
est to rdu ou fatigue, le c hanger
avec le tube interne.
