Powering the System Off
To power off the system via the remote control:
1. Press .
2. Press or to scroll to Shut down and then press .
The system shuts down immediately. The indicator LED on the VC800 codec is off.
To power on the system again via the remote control:
1. Press .
The indicator LED on the VC800 codec illuminates solid green.
Setup Wizard
When you first start up or reset the system, the display device will display the setup wizard.
To complete the setup wizard via the remote control:
1. Set the language displayed on the display device.
The default language is English.
2. Set the date and time (e.g., set the time zone, time format, date format and the type of the
daylight saving time).
The system obtains the time and date from the NTP server automatically by default. You
can also configure the time and date manually. For more information, refer to on Time &
Date on page 50.
3. Edit the site name.
The default site name is ”Yealink VC800”.
4. Change the administrator password.
