4. BASIC OPERATION
4.4.8 SettingDCoffset
a) Settingmethod
1.
Press the
OFFSET
OFFSET shortcut
key to open the DC offset input field.
Alternatively, select the [Offset] field
and then press the
ENTER
ENTER key
to open the DC offset input field.
Even if there are several setting
screens, the [Offset] field is always
displayed on the first page.
If [Low] is displayed in the [Offset] field
and the low level instead of the offset
is displayed, press the
OFFSET
OFFSET
key once more to switch to the DC
offset display.

Select the digit to be changed with the left/right arrow keys, and increment/
decrement the value with the
up/down arrow keys or the modify knob. The
change is instantly reflected to the output.Alternatively, enter a numeric value using the
0

9
numeric keypad. Then press the
ENTER
ENTER key or one of the unit keys
(soft keys) to set the input value and reflect it to the output.
b) AC+DClimitation
The maximum value for [AC amplitude + DC offset] is limited to ±10 V/open.
For example, if the AC amplitude is 5 Vp-p/open, the DC offset range is limited to the range from
-
7.5 V/open to +7.5 V/open.
The maximum value varies according to the output voltage range setting and the external addition
input setting.
