4.2 How to configure IGMP routing for multicast clients in a
different LAN
The example shows administrators how to configure IGMP routing on
the Zyxel Layer 3 switch. This is necessary when the multicast clients are
in a different LAN or VLAN from the streaming server.
Configure IGMP routing for multicast clients in different VLAN
Note:
All network IP addresses and subnet masks are used as examples in this article.
Please replace them with your actual network IP addresses and subnet masks. This
example was tested using XGS4600-32 (Firmware Version: V4.50) and GS2210-48HP
(Firmware Version: V4.30).
This feature is for L3 capable switches only.
