UIDE
Power LED Flashes Continuously
If the Power LED continues to flash after 120 seconds,
please contact Technical Support (see Appendix H
for
information about contacting Technical Support).
Power and Alert LED Lit Continuously
If the Power and Alert LEDS are both continuously lit,
please contact Technical Support (see Appendix H
for
information about contacting Technical Support).
Link LED is Off
If the Link LED is not lit, try the following:
Make sure the Internet Firewall is powered on.
Make sure the RJ-45 connections are secure. Gently
moving the cable back and forth should not make the
Link LED turn on and off.
Make sure the wiring follows the 10BASE-T
specification. See Pinout Diagrams
on page 131 for
more information.
Try replacing the cable with a known good cable.
Is it the correct cable? Try using a standard 10BASE-T or
crossover cable instead. If the problem is on the LAN or
DMZ port, try setting the Uplink/Normal switch to the
alternative position.
Ethernet Connection is Not Functioning
If the Ethernet connection does not work, try the
following:
Check the physical connections to make sure they are
secure.
Try replacing the cable with a known good cable.
Cannot Access the Management Interface
If the Internet Firewall does not allow users or the
administrator to log in to establish an authenticated
session, try the following:
Make sure that the Web browser you are using to
access the management interface is supported by the
