140 Maintenance
Replacing the auxiliary cooling fans of the drive module (frame R11)
WARNING! Obey the safety instructions in chapter Safety instructions. If
you ignore them, injury or death, or damage to the equipment can occur.
Fan in the front panel:
1. Stop the drive and do the steps in section Electrical safety precautions on page 16
before you start the work.
2. Open the cabinet doors.
3. Undo the mounting screw of the fan cassette.
4. Unplug the power supply cable of the fan.
5. Undo the mounting screws of the fan.
6. Install the new fan in reverse order to the above. Make sure that the arrow in the fan
points to the drive module.
7. Close the cabinet door.
8. Reset the counter in group 5 in the primary control program.
