I. GENERAL INFORMATION
The 700 series is a range of modern digital door entry units with apartment
number display and access control function. These units feature a large, backlit
LCD display and backlit keypad (with blue backlight in case of CDNP7 and white
backlight in INSPIRO+). The keypad can be used both to call any apartment,
selecting a number in the range from 0 to 999999 as well as to unlock the door
using 4-digit, individual user code. Units with a proximity reader also support
cards and RFID proximity key fobs in Unique 125 kHz standard (CDNP7ACC
supports proximity key fobs, while INSPIRO+ supports both cards and key fobs).
Backlit and modern keypad made of stainless steel means failure-free operation
for a long time. Keypads like this are widely used by telecoms in modern
equipment, easily accessible to the public particularly vulnerable to devastation
(vending machines, telephone booths, etc.). Also available are Braille keypads.
A special sensor activates a display heater when the temperature drops (below

C) to greatly improve display readability.
The 700 series door entry units require double wire installations (audio version)
or a T568B standard UTP (Video version). They are suitable for use with
uniphones featuring digital decoding: INS-UP, INS-UP720, UP800 or INS-MP,
INS-MP7 and MP800/UP800V video inside units. It is possible to expand them
with different additional modules. They will also work with door entry units of other
CDNP series (Master / Slave mode).
Housing of CDNP7 units is made of aluminium alloy, while INSPIRO+ panels are
made of stainless steel. This type of housing ensures effective protection against
devastation and weather conditions, while still being a modern design. The 700
series units are easy to operate, functional, their installation is simple and are
adaptable to the changing requirements of contemporary housing construction.
The 700 series door entry units can be expanded to complex multi-entry systems
that combine a number of devices operating in a single system, for instance
residential estates with access control, gate house, main gate, building entrances
etc. In practice this makes it possible to call an apartment both at the entrance to
the site as well as the entrance to a building or staircase. To enable this, the 700
series door entry units are available in booth Master (primary unit in the system
or a stand-alone unit) as well as Slave versions (secondary units in the system).
One unit will support up to 255 apartments as a standard (receiver addresses),
however INSPIRO+ panels are capable of supporting up to 1020 units
apartments if optional modules extending the system to 4 zones (SW4S-DIN) are
used.
Their other advantage is the possibility to individually program the ringing
parameters for each apartment, by choosing one of the four available signals,
signal repetition in the ringing cycle, door opening signal and automatic opening.
With eight programmed additional numbers it is possible to call one uniphone
using many different numbers (each with different ringing settings), such as in a
