XIII. CHANGE OF MESSAGE LANGUAGE
The language displayed in the 700 series units can be changed. The units are
provided with four languages to choose from 1: Polish (PL), 2: English (EN), 3:
German (DE) and 4: French (FR). Any of these languages (1 to 4) can be selected
using the computer program.
If it is possible to restore factory settings, changing the language to language No.
2 is done by pressing "456" at the same time when switching on the unit when
the countdown stops (while "acois displayed briefly). Press "123" at the same
time to restore language No. 1.
PLEASE NOTE! As of version K-15 of the software the launch of the language
change procedure is different - enter the installer's menu and at the same time
press the combination "123" or "456", depending on which language is to be set.
XIV. RESTORING FACTORY SETTINGS AND DELETING MODULE MEMORY
1.- restoring factory settings
All settings configured in the unit’s memory can be deleted by launching the
restore factory settings procedure.
PLEASE NOTE! As of version K-15 of the software, the procedure of restoring
memory settings is different: enter the installer's menu and press 2,5,8 at the
same time. Without the password to the installer's menu, factory settings restore
is not possible. If the factory settings restore is locked, the unit will display "Err!"
In software versions earlier than K-15, factory settings restore can be done by
turning off the power for about 10s and turning it back on. After the countdown,
while the unit briefly displays "aco", press 2,5,8 at the same time. If the factory
settings restore is enabled, the unit will display "Reset!" and will generate an
acoustic signal - factory settings will be restored (as per chapter XV). If the factory
settings restore is locked, the unit will display "Err!"
The factory settings restore work only for “unit parameters" as well as "numbers
and call parameters" for zone 1 only, the code table number remains unchanged
and all access codes are restored according to that code table number. To restore
the factory settings of "numbers and call parameters" in the remaining zones, use
the "New settings" option from the "File" menu in the computer program and
select "Save settings". The reset procedure will not change the settings of
additional modules, such as 230E, ACC or INTRO.
2.- restoring the default INTRO message
Follow the procedure for factory settings restore, but use "2,5,8,0" button
combination to be pressed at the same time.
When the procedure is completed, the unit will display "aco”.
PLEASE NOTE! As of version K-15 of the software, the Intro message cannot
be restored using "2,5,8,0" buttons. It can only be changed using the computer
program.
