P19 LINE TESTING
LTest
This function is used to check whether or not the receivers cause any interference
in the system (for instance when selecting addresses). The program will find
potential receivers with faulty address switching or decoding system.
This function is only available for "Master" panels (or "Slave" panels where the
"ML" terminal is not connected). In operating mode with 4 zone switch ("SW4S-
DIN") the function is not available.
Upon activating the function, the unit will display LTest”; all receivers will be reset
and a test signal will be generated in the line. Each faulty receiver should receive
the test signal - to find those faulty receivers, one needs to walk around the
building and identify those apartments, where the test signal is received. If the
unit also displays "LineEr", it indicates that one or more receivers are actually
faulty. Faulty receivers should be disconnected from the system as they may
cause the whole system to malfunction. If the system works as intended, no faulty
receiver is detected during the test, and the unit should display "LTest". Use the
"#" button to turn the test off.
Enable the P18 function for further testing of the installation.
