XX. TROUBLESHOOTING
Display and keypad
won’t work
Check for power supply. Turn the power off for approx. 15s and turn
it on again; if this doesn’t work - notify the maintenance staff.
Upon selecting the
number, the call is
made to two or more
receivers
The probable cause of failure is damage to one or more receivers
Check whether or not the receivers have the same physical
addresses assigned.
Message "LineEr"
Short-circuit on the uniphone line (LINE+) to ground (correct line
voltage - approx. 9V) - remove the short circuit. If "LineEr" is still
on upon disconnecting the unit from the uniphone line - notify the
maintenance staff.
Message "LineEr" and
bright display backlight
Short-circuit of the uniphone line (LINE+) to more than 11V
(correct line voltage - approx. 9V) - remove the short circuit. If
"LineEr" is still on upon disconnecting the unit from the uniphone
line - notify the maintenance staff.
Message "Locked"
Calling the selected apartment locked - program P3.
Message "Err!"
The number being called is out of the range of the number of
supported apartment - reset using computer program
Distortion of during
conversation or
buzzing.
When connected, see whether or not the supply voltage is lower
than 12VAC . Each door entry unit in the system must feature a
dedicated transformer/power supply
Door opening signalled
by the unit but E-lock
won’t work
Check E-lock or E-lock connection. Check whether or not the
supply voltage during door opening drops below 12VAC / 15VDC
Squeaking sound
during connection with
the receiver
Set the microphone and speaker volume and balance (XI).
Message "No ACC"
The proximity card/key fob reader module (ACC) is disconnected
from the unit or is damaged. Restart the unit, if the message
reappears the ACC reader won’t work, it may be damaged or in
error condition or communication between unit's mainboard and
additional modules failed.
The door entry unit features no proximity card/key fob (ACC)
reader
Message "t.Err"
Memory error - notify the maintenance staff
Message "Call
Service
1. Check in unit settings whether or not the time after which this
message should appear is set (refer to Chapter XII: P15 program
for details)
2. Data in unit’s memory corrupted. Restore factory settings (refer
to chapter XIV for details). If resetting factory settings does work,
contact service staff.
After call and picking
up the handset, the
unit won’t initiate the
connection (continues
ringing)
Check the resistance of the uniphone line. The resistance between
the farthest ends of the line must be less than 60 Otherwise,
solder the connections, check, replace the wiring or align the
uniphone line (increase the cable cross section). For testing,
disconnect all receivers and connect one receiver on short wires
(near the door entry unit)
Make sure that the voltage at line terminals is approx. 9V (LINE+
and -).
Master panels should be in standby mode, Slave panels after
pressing a call number or after disconnecting the ML terminal
