The time entered is indicative - over one year the difference may be even a few
days. Any power failure periods are excluded from the time countdown.
As of version K-15 of the software, the message "Call service” also indicates
memory corruption - refer to chapter XX: troubleshooting.
P16 INSTALLER'S CALL FROM APARTMENT
Installer's call from the receiver in an apartment during installation of the system.
This function is dedicated to installers and used to verify if the receiver works
properly - if ringing, audio track and door opening is as expected. The function
uses physical addresses of the receivers.
This function is only available for "Master" panels (or "Slave" panels where the
"ML" terminal is not connected). In operating mode with 4 zone switch ("SW4S-
DIN") the function is not available.
If the function is activated and the open button is pressed three times when the
handset is not hung up, the unit will automatically start searching for the receiver
where the handset is not hung up. The search range is “Frm" - “To" (from-to) set
during function activation. When the receiver is found, the unit will confirm this
with a triple beep on the receiver. Then the handset needs to be hung up and
after a short while the unit will automatically call that receiver (the display will
show its call number which needs to be selected on the keypad). Operating of
the received can be verified upon answering the call. “Frm" - “To" range is the
physical address of the receiver.
Upon entering this function, the display will show “Frm" and while "????” is being
displayed, enter the value of the start of the search range (0 to 255) - confirm
with the "key" button. Then the unit will display “To" and while "????” is being
displayed, enter the value of the end of the search range (0 to 255) - confirm with
the "key" button. One/two-digit values entered must be confirmed with the "key"
button, while three-digit values will be saved automatically (press the "#" key to
exit the function). The unit will then display “Ready” and will exit the installer’s
menu.
When the function is activated, the unit displays "_ _ _ _" and the unit can be use.
The function is active for some 5.5 hours or can be deactivated earlier by
activating the E-lock in the service mode (function P0).
The function only works for receivers with handsets and may not be available
when using other manufacturers’ receivers.
