P7 CHANGING THE INSTALLER’S PASSWORD AND ADDING INSTALLER’S
PROXIMITY CARDS / KEY FOBS

Modification of the 4-digit installer’s password and adding installer’s proximity
cards/key fobs to the ACC reader. Installer’s password is used to access the
installer’s menu and settings from the computer program. The default password
is "0000" or the last four digits of the serial number.
Upon selecting the function, the unit will display "Pass?", current installer’s
password must be entered. When the password is correct, the unit will display
OK”, then "0IPass" and "1M-ACC". Press 0 to change the installer’s password,
press 1 to add installer’s proximity card/key fob.
Upon selecting the option to change the installer’s password, the unit will display
----”; now enter the new installer’s password. Upon entering the last fourth digit,
the unit will display "Ready" the new code is now stored in unit’s memory.
Upon selecting the option of adding installer’s card/key fob, the unit will display
"ACC>>”; now bring installer’s cards/key fobs close to the reader, one by one -
successful adding of the cards/key fobs will be confirmed by OK”, displayed for
a brief moment. Cancel adding the cards/key fobs by pressing the "#" button.
Touching the reader with installer’s card/key fob will open the door. Pressing the
"key" button before using the card/key fob will activate the second output (F2).
Pressing the "key" button before using the card/key will open the installers
menu.
PLEASE NOTE! From the K-14 compilation of the software, for security
reasons, the option to enter the installer’s menu using the installer card/key fob
is disabled.
To remove installer’s cards/key fobs from unit’s memory, use the computer
program. Installer’s cards are stored in the memory in zone 2, position 0
(address 0).
Installer’s password cannot be restored!!! Setting the password to 0000 requires
restoring factory settings, which will lead to losing all previously changed settings.
The installer’s password may only be restored if the "Reset lock" option is
disabled. If "Reset Lock" is enabled, the password cannot be restored. "Reset
lock" is deactivated by default and can be activated using the computer program.
PLEASE NOTE! As of version K-15 of the software, the installer’s password is
not deleted when restoring factory settings.
If the installer's password needs to be reset with reset lock enabled, the unit
should be shipped to the service centre together with a proof of purchase
(ownership) of the unit or proof of the permit to operate/maintain it.
