NOTE: Maximum remote sensing voltage (tolerable voltage difference between OUTPUT and SENSE) is ±0.3
V at both HI and LO sides.
When the remote sensing voltage is 0.3 V or lower, "Vo=Eo-(r3Ish+r4Is)" is satisfied.
If the remote sensing voltage exceeds 0.3 V, the output accuracy will NOT be guaranteed.
When the OUTPUT terminals and the SENSE terminals are opened in 4-wire connection, the voltage
between terminals becomes approximately 0.6 V due to internal diodes, protecting the 6146/6156.
4.1.3 Preventing Oscillation Due to Inductive Load
When the 6146/6156 is used as a current source, oscillation may occur if the inductance of the load exceeds
the maximum load inductance. In such a case, insert a resistor of tens of ohms to thousands of ohms in
series with the load to prevent oscillation.

4.1.4 Source and Sink Operations
As the output from the 6146/6156 is bipolar, both source (current source) and sink (current sink) operations
are available. The following figure shows the zones of the source and sink operations.

CAUTION: Do not apply voltage from the outside in the 30 mV and 300 mV ranges that employ resistive dividing
output. The internal circuits may be damaged because the limiters do not function in these ranges.
