4.2.10 Operating Multiple 6146/6156
This section describes synchronous operation, serial connection, and parallel connection using more than
one 6146/6156.
4.2.10.1 Synchronous Operation
The synchronous operation of multiple 6146/6156 units allows synchronization of source timing.
The timing control for the synchronization is performed by the external control signals; TRIGGER IN,
SYNC OUT and OPERATE OUT.
1. Three unit synchronous operation using OPERATE OUT
The output status, Operate or Standby in the DC source mode is synchronized. Operating the master
sets its slaves to Operate or Standby as well.
The following shows the setting and connection for the synchronous operation.
