SFPs
A small form-factor pluggable (SFP) device can be installed in Ethernet ports 1 through 4.
Figure 28 illustrates the installation of an SFP. Table 22 describes the components. Refer to
Table 23 for a list of SFPs supported by the router.

Note:
• Discard SFPs according to all local laws and regulations.
• SFPs can be installed and replaced without disabling the Ethernet interfaces.
• SFPs are keyed to prevent incorrect insertion. If an SFP is not seated properly, remove
it and confirm that the orientation is correct before reinserting it.
