DC-Input Power Connections 
Wiring the DC Inputs
The 7705 SAR-M has a standard dual-feed terminal block attached to the front of the chassis. 
The terminals are the DC power feed points for source voltage from the DC circuit. 
For redundant power configurations, you must use both DC power feeds (one for each pair of 
power terminals).
To connect power cables to the terminal block, attach (crimp) a ring lug to each power cable 
at the router end, as shown in Figure 22.

Danger: 
• Ensure that all power is OFF from the DC circuit. Locate the circuit breaker on the panel 
board that services the DC circuit and switch the circuit breaker to the OFF position. For 
extra safety, you can tape the handle of the circuit breaker in the OFF position. 
• When wiring the unit, the chassis ground connection must always be made first and 
disconnected last.
