Installing a Filler Plate

A filler plate must be installed on all empty chassis slots.

Tools required:

• slot screwdriver

To install a filler plate:

Step 1. Align the filler plate and insert the plate into the chassis slot.

Step 2. Tighten the two captive screws that fasten the filler plate to the chassis. Do not over-

tighten. Filler plates do not have backplane connectors.
