LAN Connection (Option 411)
The RJ-45 connector is used to connect the Spectrum Master to a local area network or
directly to a PC with an Ethernet crossover cable. Integrated into this connector are two
LEDs. The amber LED shows the presence of a 10 Mbit/s LAN connection when on, and a
100 Mbit/s LAN connection when off. The green LED flashes to show that LAN traffic is
present. For more information on the LAN connection, Ethernet connection, and DHCP, refer
to Chapter 9 and Appendix B.
Option 411 is not available with Option 57 (DVB-T/H BER Measurements) or Option 79
(ISDB-T BER Measurements).
Optical SFP (Option 751)
The optical transceiver port is used to connect the instrument to the fiber optic CPRI link
between a Remote Radio Unit (RRU) and a Base Band Unit (BBU). The port is present only
on instruments with Option 751 installed. It accepts SFP modules that support line rates of
650 Mbps up to 9.83 Gbps. Refer to the instrument’s Technical Data Sheet for transceiver
part numbers and specifications.
Generator/RF Out (Option 20)
RF output, 50 Ω impedance, for tracking generator (Option 20). Maximum input is +23 dBm
at ±50 VDC.
