Interchangeable sample blocks, heated covers, and plate retainers
The QuantStudio
™
6 and 7 Flex Systems feature a set of interchangeable sample
blocks, heated covers, and plate retainers that allow the instruments to support
multiple consumable formats. All of the hardware is user-installable. Replacement can
be done without the need for recalibration of the instrument, provided that the
calibrations for the new format have not expired. See Appendix B, “Maintenance“ for
more information about changing the sample block, heated cover, and plate retainer.
