NOTE
Catch any purged uid at the caliper bleed screw with a rag or small container. Clean up
any residual brake uid with a brake cleaner.
5. Replenish the master cylinder to the top level mark and secure the cover. Torque
cover screws 6-8 in-lb (.67-.90 Nm)
6. Pump the brake lever a few times to build up proper pressure and locate the pads in
the caliper assembly.
Hydraulic Brake Calipers
Maintenance Schedule - Inspect every 50 hrs. of vehicle operation
CAUTION
The brakes must be inspected regularly by a qualied authorized Argo dealer/Tech-
nician. Damaged or leaking calipers can seriously impair the ARGO steering/brak-
ing capability. Severe personal injury or property damage could result from a dam-
aged or poorly adjusted brake system.
Inspect the calipers for the conditions listed in the following chart and then perform
the recommended servicing procedures.
