8.7.1. MIDI Configuration
The MIDI CONFIGURATION section has two controls with drop-down selection menus.
The Mode menu lets you choose whether the AudioFuse 16Rig is operating in Standalone
mode or Hosted mode.
• In Standalone mode, MIDI message routing is controlled by the AudioFuse
16Rig's Standalone MIDI [p.40] settings.
• In Hosted mode, the connected computer handles MIDI routing between inputs
and outputs.
The Mixer Control menu chooses between whether the Main mixer is controlled by MIDI
messages coming from the rear-panel DIN port, the USB HOST port, or whether MIDI mixer
control is entirely disabled. If you're not planning to control the Main mixer via MIDI, we
recommend leaving this disabled to prevent accidentally changing your mixer settings.
