Problem/Error Message Possible Cause Suggested Solution
User opens reader
housing.
Attempted cleaning
or repair.
Reader has no user
serviceable parts and requires
no routine maintenance. Do
not open the reader housing.
If reader housing is opened,
contact ASP.
Display is hard to read. Glare on the screen. Move the reader to a location
with less direct light exposure,
increase screen brightness
in the Utilities Menu under
System Conguration.
An issue has occurred
causing all incubating
biological indicators to
be void. Please remove all
biological indicators.
Vibration or
turning of BIs while
incubating.
Move reader away from any
vibration source. Do not touch
or move BIs that are being
incubated. Perform hard reboot
of the reader by unplugging the
power adapter from the back
of the reader. Wait 30 seconds,
then plug the power adapter
into the back of the reader. BIs
are invalid, reprocess the load
with a new BI.
An issue has occurred
causing the biological
indicator in well No. X to
be void. Please remove
the biological indicator.
Vibration or
turning of BI while
incubating.
BI is invalid, reprocess the
load with a new BI.
