3.2. Location
The choice of location is particularly important, as subsequent movement is a complex
operation that must be performed by a qualied person.
Discuss with the customer before deciding on a location.
Install the outside unit in a location that can support its weight and which does not
transmit vibrations.
Install the outside unit horizontally.
Be sure to provide the indicated amount of space to ensure correct air circulation.
The air outlet and inlet must never be blocked.
During operation in heating mode, condensate will ow out of the outside unit. Take
all measures required to facilitate unimpeded drainage without causing any property
damage.
Install the outside unit in a location where neighbours will not be disturbed by the air
ow, noise or vibrations. If the outside unit needs to be installed close to neighbours,
obtain their permission before installing.
Check that connections to the tank can be made easily.
Take into account servicing and maintenance when choosing a location. Leave su󰀩-
cient space to allow easy access to the outside unit.

Do not install the unit near to a source of heat, vapour or ammable gas.
Do not install the unit facing into the wind, or a location exposed to strong winds or
