Warnings Installation
• Start the vacuum pump and open the valve at the yellow hose until the pressure
remaining in the circuit drops below 0.01 bar. Once the device has been fully
cleared, let the pump run for another 20 minutes.
• Close the blue tap in your set of pressure gauges (manifold) and the valve on the
yellow hose, then shut o the vacuum pump without disconnecting any of the
attached hoses.
• If after 10 minutes the pressure starts rising again, identify the leakage, seal and
repeat the steps above. The circuit is considered tight if the pressure indicated by
the vacuum meter remains unchanged for 10 minutes.
It is ESSENTIAL to vacuum pump the refrigerant lines.
Flushing with any other medium is prohibited.
6.2. Additional refrigerant charge
Upon installation, the outside unit has been pre-charged for operating refrigerant lines
with a maximum length of 15 m. Greater distances, up to a maximum of 20 m, require an
additional R32 charge. This additional charge must only be added by qualied pro-
fessionals with the corresponding certication.
20 g of R32 per additional metre
Total length refrigerant line 15 m 16 m 17 m 18 m 19 m 20 m
Top-up amount None 20 g 40 g 60 g 80 g 100 g
The refrigerant must be relled after pumping with the vacuum pump and before opening
the valves on the outside unit.
• Disconnect the vacuum pump (yellow hose) and connect a canister of R32 in its
place in the liquid discharge position. Open the canister tap.
• Top up the refrigerant charge as required in accordance with the above chart by
using the manifold tap.
• As soon as the value indicated on the scale has reduced by the additional charge
amount required, close the valve on the yellow hose and then close the canister.
• Now continue with setup of the product.
Only use R32!
Only use tools compatible with R32 (set of pressure gauges).
Always ll in the liquid phase.
Do not exceed the maximum length or elevation.
• Record the amount added in the device’s register and on the label on the outside unit
(in the corresponding box provided).
