5. Condensate drainage
• Install the condensate drain in accordance with the manual and ensure that the water
ows out correctly. If the installation is not correctly carried out, water may drip from
the bottom of the unit.
• In cold regions, do not use the dropper and the condensate drain pipe. Use of the
dropper and the drain pipe in cold weather (outdoor temperature of 0° or below) may
cause the condensate to freeze at the end of the pipes (reversible model only). The
openings in the base of the outside unit must never be blocked. It may be necessary
to t an anti-freeze heater on the outlet.

On reversible units, condensate ows out during operation in heating mode.
Connect the condensate outlet to a 16 mm diameter PVC pipe, taking care to
prevent the evacuated water from freezing.
