Use
Premises with mechanical ventilation:
In this case, there are no restrictions relating to minimum surface area provided that the
ventilation meets the criteria below:
• Ventilation ow rate greater than 60 m
3
/h.
• The lowest point on the extraction outlet is at least 100 mm from the ground.
• The air is ventilated outdoors, or to a room with a surface area greater than 4 m
2
.
Ventilation may be permanent or activated upon detection of refrigerant uid.
5.3. Grilles: restrictions on the number, size and position
These restrictions are set by standard IEC 60335-2-40, annex GG.
Number and position: the two ventilation grilles must be positioned as shown in the dia-
gram below.
