Warnings Installation
3.2.2. Fixing to the oor
50 mm or more
• Install the unit horizontally (do not tilt more than 3 degrees). During installation,
ensure that the foundations provide sucient space to allow the refrigerant lines to
be installed.
• Depending on the installation conditions, vibrations may be transmitted during oper-
ation, resulting in noise. To reduce vibrations, install the units on a base, for example
concrete blocks or anti-vibration mountings.
• The foundations must be able to support the frames of the outside unit and be at
least 50 mm thick.
• Ax the outside unit securely to the foundations, using a set of four M10 bolts, nuts
and washers (not supplied).
• The bolts must be at least 20 mm.

Do not install the outside unit directly on the ground, as this can cause mal-
functions. Condensate can freeze between the ground and the base of the unit
and prevent condensate from being evacuated.
• In some regions, heavy snow can block the air outlet and inlet and prevent hot air
from being produced. Build a shelter and a pedestal or install the outside unit on
raised feet (depending on the environment).
