Warnings Installation
• Proceed as described above at the
side of the water heater to get access
to the are ports.
Any connection between the outside unit and tank has to be made with new
copper pipes (refrigerant grade) that have been insulated separately.
If the refrigerant lines are exposed to bad weather or UV radiation and the insu-
lation is not designed to withstand this, provide suitable protection.
In order to operate correctly, the refrigerant lines must be at least 5 m long.
If the device is used with refrigerant lines less than 5 m in length, our guarantee
shall be excluded.
Ensure that the lines are tted with safety caps when handling them and feed-
ing them through the walls.
• Use the torque wrench to tighten the
nut as described below: 17 Nm for
lines of 1/4’’ and 40 Nm for lines of
3/8’’.
• Once the connections have been
made, the refrigerant lines must be
checked for tightness by applying
nitrogen with a pressure of 0.35 MPa
(35 bar).
To prevent gas leaks,
coat the flared surface
with POE refrigerant
oil only
