Use
If the user has a power supply contract for peak- and o peak-hours, the device’s con-
trol will automatically adjust the power consumption. To facilitate this function, the switch
board has to transmit respective data to the device (by 230 V being applied or not).
If replacing a water heater connected directly to the peak/o-peak hours contact, the old
supply can be used for this purpose once it has been modied for continuous supply.
In certain cases, when providing for a second supply line is dicult, the peak/o-peak
hours contact can be replaced with the device’s integrated timer.
Do not route the water heater/outside unit electrical connection into the electri-
cal cabinets or near to mains cables other than the water heater supply cable.
Ensure the insulated sheath on the power cables is not damaged when they are being put
into the cable terminals.
Also ensure that the insulation on the conductors up to the connection terminal strip is
handled with care.
5.8.1. Filling the water heater
Open the hot water valve(s).
Open the cold water tap on the pressure relief valve (ensure the pressure relief valve
drain valve is closed).
Close the hot water valves after draining them. The water heater has been lled with
water.
Check the sealing of the pipe socket connections, and the operation of the hydraulic
components, by repeatedly opening the pressure relief valve drain valve to eliminate
any residues from the discharge valve.
